Heritage Pointe Fire Hall

Regional growth consisting of increased acreage development, rural subdivisions and city expansion has created the need for additional facilities in the MD Foothills. The Heritage Pointe Fire Hall will provide fire protection for the rural communities on the southern edge of Calgary city limits. The Fire Hall consists of 4 apparatus bays, support and operations space, a small office area, training/meeting rooms as well as 8 sleeping rooms and amenity space including living quarters, locker/shower facilities and fitness space. Site development and a hose/training tower will also provide onsite training opportunities. The potential for future additional expansion of the apparatus bays has been considered in the design. The total project area is approximately 13,000 sq. ft. with a construction budget of $4.15 million.
