Lethbridge Rotary Picnic Centre

The City of Lethbridge commissioned BRZ to design a new picnic shelter facility at the North Lethbridge Sports Park. The facility incorporates and outdoor shelter area for 300 people as well as providing amenities including a large outdoor wood burning fireplace, indoor commercial kitchen and food preparation area, outdoor barbeque area, washrooms, landscaped playground areas and parking areas. The shape of the building was specifically designed to shield the outdoor shelter area against the strong Lethbridge West winds.
